Copy your iPhone contacts to FranklyMail

Export a vCard file and import it in webmail. Your original contacts stay where they are.

Connect your FranklyMail contacts account on iPhone first. Keep the exported .vcf file as a backup until you have checked the imported contacts.

  1. Open Contacts → Lists on iPhone. Touch and hold the source list, such as All iCloud.

Choose the source account rather than a combined list that already includes FranklyMail.

  2. Tap Export, select all the fields you want to keep, then tap Done → Save to Files.

This creates a .vcf file. Export each source account separately if your contacts are spread across accounts.

  3. Open webmail.franklymail.com in Safari and sign in to the mailbox that should own these contacts.

  4. Open Contacts → Contact options → Import contacts and choose the .vcf file.

  5. Check the imported names and contact details in webmail, then open Contacts → Lists → FranklyMail on iPhone.

Allow time for syncing. Keep your originals until you have checked the result. Avoid importing the same file repeatedly.

Will iCloud changes keep syncing too?

This is a one-time copy. Later edits in iCloud or Google do not automatically update the FranklyMail copy. Use the FranklyMail list for future edits, and set it as your default account for new contacts.
