FranklyMail Meet: video meetings included with business email

FranklyMail Meet is now available. Video meetings are included with your FranklyMail email, alongside Calendar. Start a call in your browser, share a link with a client, or add a meeting to the calendar you already use with your mailbox.
Meet launched on 27 October 2026. It supports up to 10 participants and 90 minutes per session, with screen sharing and in-meeting chat. Guests can ask to join without creating a FranklyMail account.
Business email, calendar and video meetings together
A project often starts in email. A few replies later, you need to look at the same screen or talk through a decision. Meet gives that conversation a place beside your custom domain email, with meeting links you can send in a message or include in an invitation.
Use it for a client review, a team catch-up or a conversation with a supplier. The meeting organizer signs in with a FranklyMail mailbox. The people you invite can open the link in their browser, including people whose email is hosted elsewhere.
Meet is included with FranklyMail, with no separate Meet subscription. For current email plan details, see FranklyMail pricing. You need an active mailbox to create meetings; a panel account used only for billing and domain management is not a meeting identity.
What you can do in FranklyMail Meet
Start a video call now or create a link for later
Open FranklyMail Meet and sign in through your mailbox. You can start an instant meeting or create a link to share ahead of time. Before joining, check your camera and microphone and choose how you want to enter the call.
A meeting link is reusable. Keep the same link for a regular conversation instead of sending a new URL every week. Each session has its own 90-minute limit. Links remain available until the owner closes them, their associated calendar event is deleted, or they have been unused for a year.
Share your screen and use meeting chat
Present a document, walk through a proposal or show the work you are discussing with screen sharing. Meet supports one presentation at a time. If somebody is already sharing, you are asked before taking over the presentation.
Use in-meeting chat to share a URL or a short note while the conversation continues. Camera and microphone controls let you adjust your participation during the call. Available screen-sharing options depend on your browser and device.
Invite guests without asking them to create an account
Send your meeting link to a client or colleague. A guest without a FranklyMail account enters a name and asks to join. If the meeting has not started, they wait for an organizer or a trusted participant to start it.
The owner, explicitly invited FranklyMail mailboxes and signed-in mailboxes in the owner's FranklyMail account can start a session and join without asking. Participants in this trusted group can admit guests while they are in the meeting. Other visitors ask to join, including FranklyMail users from another account who have not been invited.
An external guest using Gmail, Outlook or another provider still asks to join, even if their address appears in the calendar invitation. Calendar invitations do not automatically verify an external visitor's identity. Meet labels unsigned-in visitors as guests and signed-in participants from other accounts as external.
Schedule video meetings in FranklyMail Calendar
Meet is connected to FranklyMail Calendar. When creating or editing an event, choose Add FranklyMail Meet to attach a meeting link. Add the date, time and guest addresses, then save the event and send the invitation.
Saving the event keeps its title and invited guests in sync with the Meet link. Event details include a Join with FranklyMail Meet action. Opening it from Calendar uses your active Calendar mailbox to sign you into Meet, so the meeting recognizes the mailbox you are working from.
Recurring events can keep a reusable meeting link. Deleting one occurrence leaves the link available for the remaining meetings; deleting the entire event closes its associated link. You can also choose to schedule in Calendar from the Meet home page.
If you are setting up shared calendars or connecting a calendar app, our FranklyMail Calendar guide covers invitations, recurring events and CalDAV access.

Meeting limits and privacy
Each meeting supports a maximum of 10 participants, including the organizer. A session lasts up to 90 minutes. Meet shows a warning with five minutes remaining and a countdown during the final minute, then ends the session for everyone.
Recording and transcription are not included in this release. Meet uses LiveKit Cloud's global network for meeting media. FranklyMail's Germany hosting statement for email does not mean that Meet media stays in Germany or in a single region. This release does not offer end-to-end encrypted meetings.
